The Master's programme in Applied Health Sciences
The health care system is characterised by a high level of innovation in the areas of health promotion and prevention, in nursing and therapy, as well as in pregnancy and childbirth. This raises questions about the effectiveness of established and new measures and whether the methods used can actually achieve the desired goals. In addition, joint and coordinated action by the various professional groups in the health care system is becoming increasingly important for holistic, needs-based care.
The Applied Health Sciences degree programme qualifies graduates to develop and evaluate diagnostic methods and interventions in the health care system on a scientific basis and promotes cooperation between different professional groups by means of project work.
