The Bochum University of Applied Sciences
Bochum University of Applied Sciences is a university for applied sciences with around 10,000 students specialising in technology, economics and health. It offers more than 50 bachelor's and 24 master's degree programmes in eight departments: Architecture, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Geodesy, Health Economics and Community Health, Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering, Nursing, Midwifery and Therapy Sciences, and Business. Modern laboratories and skills labs, customised learning environments and a family atmosphere promote individual learning and practice-oriented solutions with which students actively advance future topics and help shape social change. With its two locations in Bochum – the central campus and the health campus – and the location at the Velbert/Heiligenhaus campus, the university is closely networked with regional industry, business and the health sector.
